RADIAL RACING RUN BY RADIAL RACERS

The KENDA Tires 660 Drag Radial Series is the brain child of Scott Harker & Justin Simpson. These two racers have seen the Radial scene in the USA go from strength to strength and decided to start a dedicated Radial Tire Only Series in Australia with the ongoing support of KENDA Tires. The KENDA Tires 660 Drag Radial Series was started in 2013 and in 2018 Kenda Tires Radial Riot was run for the first time as a stand alone radial event. This event has seen the elusive 3 Second barrier broken on Radials in Australia by Australian Jarrod Wood and Team TKM and history was made with a 3.99 second pass!!!

HOW DOES KENDA TIRES 600 DRAG RADIAL SERIES WORK?

The KENDA Tires 660 Drag Radial Series runs a unique Chicago Shootout Format, all racers run 3 qualifying passes in their respective class, then fields are seeded top half against each other and bottom half against each other. There is class finals which are determined after the 3 rounds of racing with the two cars with the most wins in each class going in to the final. If there are more then 2 cars with equal wins it is the two quickest cars from the last round of racing.

Note: Once you make your 1st qualifying pass in your allocated class you can not move to another class. You can change classes prior to your 1st qualifying pass of the day if you need to. Officials must be 1st notified of class change prior to qualifying starting.

IT’S NOT ALL ABOUT BEING FAST

With such great sponsors we think outside the box and have several minor awards up for grabs at each round meaning you don’t need to be the fastest to walk away with some cash or prizes!!
